Mark Piette, hybridiser and long time ESA member, will be the feature of our program tonight. His website contains much useful information, along with plants and cuttings available for mail-order purchase. Click here to visit the site.

Mark's passion for epiphyllums began at a young age. He attended his first ESA meeting in 1948 at the Los Angeles Downtown Public Library, when he was just 12 years old. Since then, he has been an avid grower and hybridizer. Mark has also served on the Executive Board of the ESA, and has handled our meeting sales tables for many years.

Mark remembers copying and typing Scott Haselton's The Epiphyllum Handbook, first printed in 1946. This book is still regarded as the definitive guide to epiphyllum care and culture.

At the meeting, we'll enjoy slides of Mark's epiphyllum collection, featuring his latest hybrids. His long-term association with the ESA and his wealth of experience in growing and hybridizing epiphyllums will make this a program that you won't want to miss!

Mark regrets being unable to attend the meeting in person. The ESA Board will present his program tonight.  Hope to see you there!
